They organize a talk on the contents and scope of the new digital television law

In addition to the talk, on the occasion diplomas will be presented to the students who last year participated in a CNTV workshop through NOVASUR.

"Contents and scope of the new Digital Television law" is the title of the talk organized jointly between the National Television Council and the School of Journalism of the University of La Serena, an activity that will take place on Tuesday, April 22, at 11 :30 hours, in the Television Studio of the Andrés Bello Campus of the ULS.

The presentation will be given by the lawyer of the Legal Department of the CNTV, Felipe Ahumada, who will present the definition of the CNTV and the concept of ''correct functioning'' of television services. He will also explain what the CNTV Promotion Fund consists of (open for applications until April 31 of this year), the increase in weekly hours of cultural programming, the modification of the concessions regime, among other topics.

The activity may be attended by students of Journalism and various careers of the institution, graduates, graduates, representatives of regional or local TV channels, audiovisualists and independent production companies from the Coquimbo Region.
