The event was held with the presence of all levels of secondary education.

A vocational fair was held on the covered field of the San Antonio de La Serena School that brought together the students of said establishment, who had the opportunity to access information on professional and/or technical careers from the different participating higher education institutions.

During the activity, the University of La Serena was present with a stand, providing relevant information about its academic offering and providing guidance on the admission process for 2019, which is governed by the strict standards established by the Department of Evaluation, Measurement and Educational Registry, DEMRE.

Those who were interested in learning about the career offerings at the ULS were able to clarify doubts and obtain brochures about the undergraduate programs and the benefits and services of the state institution.

Although the schools are the ones that organize these events internally, the University of La Serena is in constant contact with educational establishments in the region and other parts of the country, either to participate in these meetings, as well as to dictate talks at schools or receiving delegations of students and teachers who wish to visit university facilities; all through coordination with the Promotion Area, belonging to the Corporate Communications Department of the house of higher education.

These activities are part of the campus's commitment to community ties and the interests shown by the establishments in getting to know the only state university in the Coquimbo Region.
