The Graduate Monitoring Office, with the aim of providing various tools to its students and graduates, teaches various workshops promoting self-knowledge, the development of emotional intelligence, physical and emotional integration and their social skills.

Since 2017, various workshops have been given with contingent topics of today's society and whose purpose is to provide tools for stress management, relaxation techniques, dance therapy, mindfulness and yoga.

dancetherapy2Students and graduates from different careers, through these experiential workshops, can connect with their self-awareness, recognizing, feeling and channeling their emotions, creating greater self-confidence and the security of their skills, also ensuring loyalty and the creation of ties with the university community.

Due to the constant pressure to which professionals are subjected, there is no less number of companies that care about their spiritual well-being. And it is for the same reason that the OSE, being aware of the importance of this issue, has begun to establish these workshops to be a participatory link between university life and the work field, providing tools from the beginning of university life.

The dance therapy workshop, which has been taking place since the beginning of October, provides knowledge in body expression techniques and conscious movement. It also applies different body management techniques, making a psycho-corporal use of movement within a process that seeks the physical, emotional, cognitive and affective-social development and integration of the students.

Graduates and graduates from the different careers of the faculties of Sciences, Social and Economic Sciences, Humanities and Engineering, both in La Serena and Ovalle, have been benefited by this workshop.
