announcer3At the end of the activity, Rodrigo Gutiérrez, host of Radio Universitaria, expressed that "it is very stimulating for me to receive this award, because it recognizes the work developed throughout my years in the radio medium. I was born in a family linked to activity, my father was a radio controller in my hometown of Rancagua and I have dedicated myself to this since I was 16. I have been in radio for almost 23 years and when I came to study Journalism at the ULS I always sought to continue hand in hand with this magical medium; that is why I value this award, because it was given to me just a few months after turning 10 years since my University of La Serena invited me to be part of its radio station, which fills me with pride and makes me doubly happy, at the same time it forces me to continue doing professional and dedicated work, which has allowed me to be awarded on this occasion by the Government."
