In general terms, the results achieved in the didactic evaluation stood out, where better figures were obtained in relation to the national average.

The Coordinator of the Initial Teacher Training Area of the Center for Pedagogical Improvement, Experimentation and Research (CPEIP), Rosa Miranda, was the one who delivered the results and indicated that “the University of La Serena must be able to study these results in greater detail, identify the most important shortcomings and work on training plans and the way in which they are taking care of the way in which there have been fewer achievements.”

Given this evaluation, the work proposed by the University is to work individually with each pedagogy career through its authorities in order to generate improvement plans in the areas with greatest deficiencies according to the results obtained.survey3

“We must develop, together with the different units and careers, work instances and workshops where the deans are considered together with their management teams and generate a schedule of actions with clear and specific objectives and, above all, real, not venturing to "to achieve 'utopian' situations, which allow us to deliver good skills to our students," indicated the Academic Vice-Rector of the university, Dr. Alejandra Torrejón, regarding the commitment to be faced by the ULS.

Finally, the Director of the Integrated Pedagogy Management Unit, Dr. Fabian Araya, shared the way in which they will seek to improve the indicators obtained in this evaluation. “It is very interesting to know these results, because with this one can do specific work with the races. I think that the great challenge is to work with the pedagogical careers directly, it is not always possible due to their calendar, but our strategy is for professionals from our unit to be directly related to the careers, and the only way is to do workshops by careers based on the standards of each of them.”
