The Department of Education and the Interdisciplinary Center for Latin American Studies of the University of La Serena together with the Regional Center for Teacher Training and Educational Research (CRESUR) of Mexico, invite you to participate in the International Seminar on Education and Technologies “Building the Education of the Future” , which will take place on Thursday, September 05 and Friday, September 06 at the Support Center for the Teaching of the Humanities (CADH) of the Isabel Bongard ULS Campus.

The activity is part of the framework cooperation agreement (2016), signed between the University of La Serena and CRESUR, and the binational project: "Technological Classroom 4.0", which promotes the creation of a high-tech classroom at the service of education in the school.

The Seminar is an academic space for reflection on the use of information and communications technologies (ICT) and its impact on the teaching-learning process, analyzing how they allow the transfer of knowledge, self-learning and understanding. , as well as the development of new competencies and skills that the XNUMXst century demands.

This is a meeting to begin to project the new classroom of the future, where, through technology, social inclusion and the democratization of learning are promoted, making students more autonomous in the learning process. A meeting to think and deliberate on how education and technology develop open, continuous and flexible learning.

For this event there are outstanding panelists who will reflect on the education of the future from the new multimedia context! of technologies, deploying considerations and reflections around the new educational space of the future, the philosophy that underlies it, the new material conditions necessary for the teaching-learning process, the creation of new content and knowledge and the generation of new cooperative environments .

The Seminar invites you to think about how to use information and communication technologies (ICT) in education, to speculate on educational innovation from new digital learning environments and from the new technological tools necessary for the education of the future.

The activity is aimed at ULS Pedagogy students, academics from the institution's Department of Education, teachers from the unit who teach Technology courses or who develop educational innovation projects, and educators from educational establishments in the Region. from Coquimbo.
