Academic gives motivational talk to a hundred students from the Salesianos School

Dr. César Espíndola was invited as a featured student at the Vocational Technical Training Week.

An interesting talk to the young students of the Salesianos School of La Serena was given by the academic and director of the University of La Serena, Dr. César Espíndola, who was invited in his capacity as a prominent alumni of said establishment.cesar2

In the exhibition framed in the Vocational Technical Training Week, the academic from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Director of Strategic Development and Quality of the ULS, shared his experience with the young people and how technical training led him to other training spaces. 

The academic had the opportunity to remember passages of his life in the school environment, and highlight the support that the school provided him, in extra-programmatic and curricular branches, which allowed him to arrive at the university on “good footing.”

The rector of the establishment, Enriqueta Villalobos, thanked the professional for his willingness and also invited him to participate in future events, emphasizing that the Salesianos School does not forget its students.

In addition, the academic delivered 10 copies of the book “Carbon Footprint” to the establishment's library. This is a research carried out by the professional regarding climate change, sustainable management and energy efficiency.
