Pedagogy in Early Childhood Education holds open seminar on early childhood education

The activity took place on November 21 and 22, where participants participated in conversation tables in which various topics focused on education for boys and girls during their early childhood were discussed.

With the aim of generating a space for dialogue focused on the right to education of boys and girls from its first stage, in the context of the commemoration of the 30 years of the signing of the convention on the rights of children and girls, the Pedagogy program in Early Childhood Education at the University of La Serena held the Open Seminar on “Early Childhood Education on Sustainable, Political and Childhood Development.”

rights seminar2The activity included the participation of academics and students of the program, along with education professionals, who raised various visions about the fundamental right for the educational development of boys and girls in their early childhood, under the social context. from the actuality.

For the Coordinator of the Pedagogy degree in Early Childhood Education ULS, Dr. Desireé López de Maturana, “opening spaces for dialogue is important within a society and as a University we must be able to deliver this type of instances, where both the community can participate and share their ideas and thoughts about the importance of education.”

For her part, the member of CONANE Brazil, Raisa de Moura, who was invited to present during the activity, appreciated the creation of this type of spaces. “It is an honor to participate in this space, it is necessary to be able to talk about children's education and their rights with different experts in the area, and it is pleasant to be able to share my experience on this topic with the work we do in Brazil,” she indicated.
