“ULS, from Earth to the Universe” seeks to be a space in which scientific knowledge can be delivered to the community in a pleasant format and in a language that is suitable for the public far away from the world of research.

This week, a new scientific dissemination program in the Coquimbo Region began to be broadcast on Radio Universitaria, coordinated and conducted by Dr. Marcela Gatica Andrades, coordinator of the Scientific Communication Center of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of La Serena.

This program, which is called “ULS, from Earth to the Universe”, seeks to be a space in which scientific knowledge can be delivered to the community in a pleasant format and in a language that is suitable for distant audiences to the world of investigation.

The program that is broadcast every Tuesday and Thursday at 8 AM on 94.5 FM University Radio, and includes conversations with researchers and researchers from various areas, especially from the ULS Faculty of Science. The first programs dealt with topics as diverse as Dark Matter and the increase in HIV-AIDS cases that Chile has had in recent times.

Once broadcast, the programs are available to be heard online and shared from the program page, which can already be reviewed here.
