This objective was aimed at strengthening curricular management skills based on activities based on situations specific to the context of the ULS.
Within the framework of the 2020 activities of the Curriculum Management Area of the Teacher Improvement Unit, it is that Directors and Coordinators met at the Irma Salas Library to attend the workshop “Leadership in the Management of Renovated Curricula”.
This objective was aimed at strengthening curricular management skills based on activities based on situations specific to the context of the University of La Serena and was led by Senior Ontological psychologist and coach, Carlos Díaz Lastreto.
In this regard, Carlos Díaz, said that "this instance is necessary for those who need to know how to lead, motivate and talk with their teachers, so that they join the new practices and carry out their academic activities effectively, with motivation and commitment" .
Similarly, Díaz invited the other Directors and Coordinators to participate in the next session of the workshop. "I would like to invite all those who need it, to attend the next workshop to see the possibilities that this opens up, in relation to resources, skills and strengthening of networks within the University."
This space of motivation, disposition and encouragement for the Directors of School / Career and Career Coordinators, gave them the possibility to count experiences and generate support among them.
