In his role as director, the also researcher at the ULS Multidisciplinary Institute of Science and Technology, will be in charge of representing the genetics society in the northern macro zone, disseminating, compiling and analyzing information relevant to this society.
Regarding the importance and work that it means to assume this new position, the academic indicated that “this election is important, given that the new elected directors are from regions, which helps to decentralize the work of society, improving its territorial representation.
