On a new day, the cycle of talks Tuesday of Research in Humanities " Organized by the Research and Postgraduate Committee of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of La Serena, it will delve into the theme "Teaching English to deaf students", a conference that will be led by the academic Angela Hinojosa.

The talk will seek to provide some recommendations for teachers who may meet hearing impaired students in their English classes, and also show the English-LSCh dictionary, which is the only one of its kind that exists in our country, being an online tool, free and covering 100% of the national curriculum in terms of vocabulary.

Regarding the talk, the academic in charge indicated that “today the pedagogical work presents us with constant challenges, one of them is to attend to diversity and special educational needs, so we need to constantly update our knowledge and adapt our pedagogical practices to new challenges ”.
