The event will take place next Saturday, June 20, remotely through the ZOOM platform and will feature the participation of experts from Mexico, Argentina and Chile.

With the aim of providing a space for reflection and study of interculturality, the Interdisciplinary Center for Latin American Studies of the University of La Serena together with the Regional Center for Teacher Training and Educational Research (Mexico) will hold the international colloquium “Thinking about Interculturality”, event that will feature the participation of experts from Mexico, Argentina and Chile, next Saturday, June 20, starting at 9:00 a.m.

Among the guests, Dr. Carlos Cullen (Argentina) and Dr. Víctor Avendaño (Mexico) stand out as international guests, in addition to the academic Dr. Ricardo Salas (U. Católica de Temuco), Dr. Aldo Ocampos and Christian Huaquimilla as national guests, who will give intercultural talks with focuses on education, philosophy, politics and inclusion.

Regarding this activity, the Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Latin American Studies and ULS academic, Dr. Jaime Montes, indicated "this international colloquium is designed as a space for conversation about interculturality in Latin America, where we can experience it from different perspectives."
