The academic Esteban Correa will be part of the discussion on Wednesday June 24 at 12:00 hrs. in addition to the online concert "Spaces of Resonance" on Thursday 25 at 18:30 p.m., where he will present a work of his authorship.
On June 23, 24 and 25, the III Dialogues of the South Seminar will be held: "Chile, contemporary musical creation in times of social upheaval", an event that will include the participation of the academic from the Music Department of the University of La Serena and composer Esteban Correa.
The project Dialogues of the Southeast Seminar is an invitation from the ANTARA Latin American Music Studies Program, from the Music Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, for the articulation of a space for reflection, debate and conceptualization on the strengthening of local identities through of music, both in symbolic manifestation of belonging and agent of social transformation.
In this way, the ULS academic will be part of Conversation 3 on Wednesday June 24 at 12:00 hrs. and the online concert "Spaces of Resonance" on Thursday 25 at 18:30 p.m., where he will present a work of his authorship and share part of his renowned career as a composer of concert music, a work that includes a production of around fifty of works, including pieces for orchestra, ensemble and solo instrument -along with music for theater-, presented both in Chile and abroad (Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia).
