APRENDE and PACE ULS programs launch new #REPOST program in Podcast format

PACE Podcast

The series of programs seeks to inform on various topics of interest to the secondary education and higher education communities, in the context of the pandemic.

In order to contribute to the students of the University of La Serena, PACE educational establishments and the community in general, the communications team of the APRENDE and PACE ULS programs created #Repost, a program in podcast format, which will be available of the community.

The objective of #Repost is to offer useful and interesting information to secondary and higher education students, with whom the APRENDE and PACE ULS support programs work, as well as contribute to the community in general, providing guidance on related processes with the health and educational context, produced by the pandemic that the country is currently experiencing.

In this regard, the Executive Director of APRENDE PACE ULS Programs, Mg. Viviana Romero explained “As Academic Vice-Rectorship programs, it is important to be able to reach our beneficiaries with information in different formats, both at the higher education level and the work we do with our 12 high schools in the PACE Secondary Education Program. We hope to be able to create relevant material, that can be close and direct, that in some way allows us to strengthen the link with the educational communities and the university community.”

What is a podcast?

A podcast is a digital audio format, usually mp3 or wav, that can combine music and voice. The most common contents are: news, educational content, tutorials, advice and interviews.

The series of chapters of the #Repost program will be hosted on the website: http://aprendeuls.userena.cl/repost/, via spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/4RIG729HFx3BTQqCwcizHC , as well as on the channels of both YouTube programs: APRENDE ULS Universidad de La Serena and PACEULS Universidad de La Serena, to be downloaded and played. Every week the student community, as well as the community in general, will have a new podcast on contingent topics.

Some of the available topics are: What is APRENDE ULS?, Psychoeducational Accompaniment in Higher Education, Infodemia: How to face it from the family and the school?, among others.
