The musical journey corresponds to the II Official Season Concert of this 2021.

With a sublime tribute to one of the most important composers of the 2021th century in Argentina, the bandoneonist Astor Piazzolla, who in 100 commemorates 7 years of his birth, the string ensemble of the Universidad de La Serena Symphony Orchestra presented its II Concert of Official Season through its official social networks (Fanpage and YouTube channel) and at the same time, through the Vive Elqui TV channel, signal XNUMX of VTR; where residents of Coquimbo, La Serena and Ovalle were able to enjoy a musical show of the highest level.

In addition to the famous pieces 'Adiós Nonino' and 'Libertango', the online presentation also included two recognized works from the learned repertoire: 'Allegro, Divertimento in D Major K.136' (1st Mov.) by the great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Austria ) and 'Chamber Symphony No. 10 in B Minor' by the German composer Félix Mendelssohn; which were performed by the OSULS string family together with the Bachelor of Music student at the University of La Serena, violin mention, Miguel Macías, who carried out his professional practice alongside the professional cast of the Coquimbo Region.

The II presentation framed in 'A season like no other' in 2021 will have its territorial extension in the commune of Vicuña and surrounding towns in the Elqui Valley next Thursday, July 1 at 22:00 p.m. and later, on Sunday, July 4 same month at 19:00 p.m. on the screens of Elquina TV, channel 5 open signal and channel 63 color cable; thanks to a valuable collaborative alliance that the professional cast maintains with the local media of the Coquimbo Region, thus extending its musical and heritage work in the territory.
