They hold the first working meeting linked to ensuring the quality of the training processes in the ULS Pedagogy careers

The activity led by the Teaching Improvement Unit (UMD), seeks to strengthen the work of Curriculum Managers in quality assurance and management processes.

With the presence of School Directors, Career Coordinators of ULS Pedagogies and the Self-Evaluation Support Office Team, collaborative work began aimed at strengthening and applying quality assurance mechanisms in training processes. within the framework of Initial Teacher Training. On this occasion, the meeting focused on analyzing and associating institutional curricular management tools with the requirements of the Self-Evaluation process for the next degree Accreditation.

Among the attendees, the Director of the School of Pedagogy in Musical Education, Leonardo Godoy Sepúlveda, highlighted the opportunity to work together with curricular managers from the other ULS pedagogical careers: “this type of meeting is important because we share as a team, we learn from the experiences and we have an orientation to carry out these processes in time, which are very important for the future accreditations of the programs and teams we lead.”

Likewise, the Coordinator of Pedagogy in Biology and Natural Sciences, Nancy Olivares Briceño, reaffirmed the positive nature of collaborative work during these institutional instances: “In my case, since I have been in the position for a short time, it is extremely important to work on time and together, since it allows us to interact with other curricular managers.”

“I thought the initiative was excellent. Specifically, this UMD workshop contributed to each one as a curricular manager being clear about the Decrees, agreements and their modifications,” added Nancy Olivares.

In this way, continuity is given to the activities that officially began during the month of October and that are aimed at strengthening the management of curricula in pursuit of improving training processes, led by curricular managers from the University of La Serena. .
