These are Physical Conditioning, Yoga and Meditation, Tile Mosaic Level II, and Dance Therapy, whose registrations are open until March 28.

Aimed at granting a human, empathetic and close seal to the task that is carried out every day at work, in 2023 the Rector, Dr. Luperfina Rojas, promoted the “Quality of Life of ULS Officials” campaign, whose purpose is to generate actions that contribute to improving both the mental and physical health of each member of the Institution.

In this context, the Human Resources Department, through its Personnel Welfare Department, implemented a series of workshops in which more than 200 people participated. And for this year, registration has already opened for four activities: Physical conditioning, Yoga and meditation, Mosaic with tiles Level II, and Dance therapy.

Registration is open until this Thursday, March 28 and the workshops begin on Wednesday, April 3. Those interested must enter the link  https://forms.gle/eWDZkxYywZRSEhXX7

Experience 2023

“The guitar workshop experience was very good. The teacher very patiently taught us the basics of learning to play guitar and also some slightly more advanced technique so that we could continue practicing at home. Without a doubt, an experience that can be replicated in the future, which not only served to acquire new skills, but also to generate new links between ULS officials. Very grateful for this opportunity,” said Emilio Castro, journalist from the Distance Education Office and who participated in the 2023 workshops.

While Wilson Vilches, designer of PACE and Office of Student Support and Monitoring, highlighted that “when I saw the clay modeling workshop among the range of activities in January, I did not hesitate to sign up. I was confident that Miguel Rojas would give the workshop and indeed he did, since I knew beforehand his work and talent in this area. The workshop was very entertaining and educational. All participants learned a lot and personally, I was very motivated to continue exploring more of this technique in a workshop format during the year. There is a lot of talent behind the desks of each official, so these spaces are appreciated and I hope that it will continue over time, in order to perhaps consolidate a group of officials in this art.”

Opinion shared by Renato Urzúa, professional at the Multidisciplinary Research and Postgraduate Institute, who noted that "the clay workshop for civil servants held in January was a great experience. It is an activity that I would do again, since through working with clay "I found a moment of relaxation and enjoyment. A space of calm in the midst of work and daily responsibilities."
