The Faculty turns 24 years old and this Friday the 2023 Public Account will be carried out.

During this week, the Faculty of Social, Business and Legal Sciences (FACSEJ) of the University of La Serena celebrates its 24th anniversary. The Dean, Dr. Fabián Araya, highlighted that the academic macro-unit “has become a beacon of interdisciplinary learning, research, innovation and commitment to society.”

With the talk “Anti-avoidance Tax Schemes”, where Rómulo Gómez Sepúlveda, Regional Director of the Internal Revenue Service (SII), presented, the activities began and on Thursday, April 11, the inauguration of the remodeling of the Television Study for the Journalism degree, at the Andrés Bello Campus.

On Friday, meanwhile, the XXIV Public Account of the FACSEJ will be held, an instance where the Dean will present the different actions and tasks that were carried out during the year 2023. Subsequently, the keynote talk “Current challenges for the sustainability of businesses and organizations”, where Master Reinalina Chavarri Muñoz, Director of the Sustainability Observatory of the University of Chile, will present.
