The agreement is a valuable instrument for FACSE academics to gain international experience, exchange knowledge and establish links with their peers.
The Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of the University of La Serena signed an agreement with the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of San Juan, Argentina, with the aim that the professors of both faculties carry out short internships to give lectures, to take classes in Undergraduate and postgraduate courses and participate in activities related to the environment and research as a whole.
"The present agreement is a valuable instrument for academics of the Faculty to acquire international experience, exchange knowledge and establish links with peers that we are sure will be translated into joint work in favor of the progress of the Coquimbo Region and the Province of San Juan. "Commented on this agreement the dean of FACSE, Mg. Jorge Fernández.
The agreement was made known to the professors of the University of San Juan in an event in which more than thirty teachers participated who were very motivated to participate in the project.
The deans also signed an Act of Intention in order to study the feasibility that the Magister in "Leadership, Strategic Management and Communication in Organizations" that is currently dictated at the University of La Serena will begin next year in the city of San Juan with the sponsorship of both faculties.
Dean Fernandez also met with the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Humanities and Arts, to whom he explained the Teacher Internship Agreement, immediately expressing his interest in signing a similar agreement with his Faculty.
Interesting veins of collaboration are opened between different faculties of both universities within the framework of the activities of the Subcommittee on Education, of the Integration Committee Paso de Agua Negra.
