The ULS delegation took 1st place in men's single and doubles table tennis, 3rd place in women's table tennis and 2nd place in athletics.

A total of 33 students from the Agricultural Engineering program at the University of La Serena gathered in Temuco, from November 6 to 9, to participate in the 2014 National Agronomy Olympics of Chile.

The disciplines in which they competed were basketball, soccer, men's and women's table tennis, athletics and volleyball, obtaining 1st place in men's single and double table tennis, 3rd place in women's table tennis and 2nd place. in athletics.

As stated by Emilio Plaza, president of the CEC, “this experience was very gratifying both for us as CEC, and for the students who attended, since it involved learning about other realities at the national level.” He also highlighted that “at the University of La Serena we are aware of activities at the national level and we are not far behind in terms of student participation.”
