In addition, the students offered a small concert for the entire garden community, performing various musical pieces, both classical and children's.

First-year students of the Bachelor of Music degree at the University of La Serena performed an instrument demonstration for the infants and educators of the “Nidito de Amor” kindergarten, in Tierras Blancas. This exhibition consisted of visiting the kindergarten children in their living room, teaching them and demonstrating the various musical instruments owned by the students for recreational and educational purposes.

The previous presentation is part of an activity that students of the program must carry out in order to pass the second semester of their first year.

Regarding the activity carried out, educator Marcela Valdivia, grateful for the initiative, indicated that “we work with music daily, but boys and girls only know the instruments by sight. In fact, we are in a very deprived sociocultural place for them, they do not know musical instruments (...). We give them that opportunity, a musical education that enriches their lives. The children were fascinated by the demonstration, for us it was spectacular. As long as they get rich in that area, we are happy.”

Days later, the ULS students performed a small concert for the entire garden community, performing various musical pieces, both classical and children's.
