The Universidad Católica del Norte, Coquimbo headquarters, organized this meeting, where the ULS Experimental Theater group performed on two occasions, both with great success, at the UCN Cultural Shed and at the Palace Cultural Center.

theater exper2Regarding the possibility of presenting at this meeting, Margarita Castro, student of Tourism Administration and member of the Experimental Theater Group, stated that “it is too enriching, because one knows other types of theater passions from other universities, in addition to that of Brazil and different types of contexts and opinions of people who study other types of careers regarding theater,” he said.

Likewise, the coordinator of the Department of Extracurricular Activities, Mauricio Castillo, valued the participation of the ULS theater group in this national meeting. “I must recognize the work of Claudia Hernández, director of this group, who was not present during the III University Theater Meeting, because she was in Mexico at the International Meeting of Women Poets in the Country of the Clouds in the State of Oaxaca.”

Finally, Castillo highlighted the students, who despite not being with Director Hernández, gave an excellent presentation. “It was the students who led this participation, even when the professor was not present, which speaks well of our students and University,” she concluded.
