Circus magic returns to the University of La Serena. The Mining Circus will perform two performances this Friday, December 18.

The Mining Circus of the University of La Serena, about to celebrate 65 years of existence, announced two performances for this Friday, December 18, at the group's Amphitheater, located in Benavente s/n (in front of Placa Centro), where They will unveil the fruit of long days of rehearsals this year.

Cecilia González, student of Pedagogy in Basic General Education and secretary of the Mining Circus, specified that there will be top-level shows for the two performances on Friday, including “traditional numbers, clowns, hoops, fire, juggling, trapeze and some surprises.”

Likewise, Mauricio Castillo, coordinator of the Department of Extracurricular Activities of the DGAE, valued the Mining Circus as a relevant cultural heritage in the ULS. “It is one of the groups that generates the most ties with the environment, we receive many invitations from various places for the circus to perform, in fact this year they have performed in many places,” he concluded.

The ticket prices are 2 pesos for general admission, 500 pesos for ULS students, and 500 pesos for senior citizens and children. The only two performances will be on Friday at 19 and 22 p.m., respectively.
