A large audience was able to enjoy the two performances offered by the group, which delighted children and adults alike.

The Mining Circus, made up of students from the University of La Serena, was successfully presented during Papayo Week 2015 and before a large audience. The group offered two shows last Friday, December 18, leaving a pleasant sensation due to the quality of their numbers.

Cecilia González, secretary and member of the Circus, expressed her joy for both shows, where the applause was immediate from the public that came to the Circus headquarters, on Benavente Street. “There were new numbers like the jump and the triple trapeze and a guest artist from the Kalapurca circus of Copiapó who did the Spanish rope,” she added.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Castillo, coordinator of the Department of Extracurricular Activities of the DGAE, valued what was presented by the students. “Both performances were massive, many people enjoying themselves and the boys were very happy with this participation and the staging of what had been prepared these last two years,” he concluded.
