The Streetdance workshop was presented at the meeting representing the ULS.

At the University of La Frontera, the VII Meeting of the Integrarte Network was held, where delegations from different universities in Chile participated. The event was attended by delegations of students from seven universities in the country: Universidad de Concepción, Universidad Católica del Norte, Coquimbo Campus, Universidad del Bío - Bío, Universidad Austral de Chile, Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Universidad de La Serena and Universidad of the border This year the University of Playa Ancha was also integrated, which will participate in the next meeting of the Network.

Around one hundred students gathered on this occasion with artistic samples of jazz, dance, rock, streetdance, folklore, circus arts, among others. Precisely, the U. de La Serena was represented by the students of the Streetdance workshop.

Regarding the participation of the ULS students, the Coordinator of the Department of Extracurricular Activities of the house of studies, Mauricio Castillo, commented that “for them it was a magnificent experience for their integral formation. It should be noted that, for the first time, students from a workshop attended, since on other occasions they attended with permanent groups from the Department. The evaluation by the other institutions, with only three months of work in the streetdance workshop, was positive. This urges us to evaluate the alternative that, in next year's meeting, whose headquarters will be at the University of Santiago de Chile, an extracurricular workshop can participate again”.
