papayitos glasses2With a playful and fun activity, the boys and girls of the “Los Papayitos” Garden, dependent on the DGAE and intended for the sons and daughters of students, received their certified glasses to safely observe the solar eclipse on July 2.

During the activity, the educators together with students in practice of the Early Childhood Education Pedagogy career performed an entertaining and educational play about the astronomical event.

In addition, the astronomer of the house of studies, Rodolfo Angeloni, was in charge of talking to the children, showing didactically with a sun projector how the eclipse will occur and the care they should take when observing it. After the presentation, the presentation was made to all the boys and girls, who joyfully received their glasses given by the ULS.

In this way, the University of La Serena continues to bring science closer to the entire university and regional community.
