The activity was attended by parents and guardians of the establishment, who saw how their children are developing their artistic facets. 

Dancing and a lot of fun was experienced at the Los Papayitos Kindergarten in the celebration of “Family Day”, a day that featured artistic presentations by boys and girls from the different levels of the garden.

The director of the establishment, Valeria Milla, expressed that the celebration was born because “we do not celebrate mother's or father's day, since the family today is not the traditional ones, for the same reason we wanted to celebrate this instance, since "It is important that the entire family participates in the educational development of children."

Milla also highlighted the participation of parents and guardians in the activity. “There was a lot of participation, the activity had collaboration with the Parents Center, so we were very happy this first time we celebrated Family Day,” she stated.

Likewise, Javiera Manghi, representative of Los Papayitos and student of Journalism at the University of La Serena, appreciated that these instances are generated to participate. “I think it's good that we have the possibility of celebrating Family Day, it helps us share, both with the children and with the aunts (...). Plus you know that they prepared all week learning dances and as a mother it is always nice to see that dedication,” she noted.
