It is the main literary event in Peru.

The Universidad de La Serena Publishing House will be present at the twenty-second version of the Lima International Book Fair, to be held from August 21 to 6 of this year, in the Peruvian capital.

According to the manager of the ULS Publishing House, Alejandro Abufom, "this shipment and exhibition of books is possible thanks to our membership in the Association of Independent and University Editors of Chile (EDIN), a union entity that, with the support of Pro Chile, facilitates the transfer of books and the construction of a stand that represents the publishers of our country. And he added that "for a provincial and university publisher, which always has the problem of making texts visible, this is a great opportunity to show what we are doing."

The Lima International Book Fair is the main literary event in this country. Annually it receives more than 500 thousand attendees who witness everything from text presentations to musical shows and storytelling. Well-known and respected writers such as Juan Villorio and Margo Glantz have been invited to this version of the literary event. From Chile, Diamela Eltit and Álvaro Bisama, among others, are confirmed.
