The last film of this cycle will be shown in the ULS Exhibition Hall.

An excuse to go out on these cold days in Serena and enjoy an entertaining afternoon at the movies is what the Directorate of Liaison with the Environment and Extension of the University of La Serena is offering. This is “Waku Waku Cinema”, the Japanese Film Series that this Friday, May 11, at 17:00 p.m., will present “Boku no Kanojo wa Saibogu” (My girlfriend is a cyborg).

The film tells the story of Jiro, a college student whose life is so sad that he has no friends, girlfriend or family with whom to celebrate his birthday. One year, while he is buying a gift, he meets a girl with whom he spends the afternoon. When night comes, the girl says that she has to leave, but not before confessing to Jiro that he is a robot and that she comes from the future. Time passes and Jiro doesn't see her again... until her next birthday. This time the girl seems to have come to stay.

The film series is free of charge and is presented in the ULS Exhibition Hall, located at Benavente 950, La Serena.
