Director of the Law degree presents in the Argentine diploma of Civil-Labor-Criminal Orality

On the occasion, lawyer Germán Solís presented “Orality in the second instance, in Chilean civil procedure.”

The Director of the Law degree at the University of La Serena, lawyer Germán Solís Godoy, was invited by the Judicial Branch of the Province of San Juan, Argentina, to present in the third module of the Diploma in Civil-Labor-Criminal Orality.

On the occasion, the academic presented "Orality in the second instance, in the Chilean civil procedure", an opportunity in which he shared with the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Chile, Dr. Renée Rivero, and with the judge of the National Court of Criminal Appeals of Buenos Aires, Ricardo Matías Pinto.

The diploma course has the participation of speakers from the United States, Spain, Argentina and Chile, and is part of the reforms that are being developed both in Argentina in general and the Province of San Juan in particular, linked to the Justice 2020 Project of the trans-Andean nation. .

The Director of the Law program pointed out that “it was very gratifying that the Judicial Branch of the Province of San Juan has extended an invitation to a teacher from our study house, to make our experience known and in this way guide those responsible. beyond the Andes, to modify and implement the necessary reforms.”  

Solís Godoy added that on the occasion he took advantage of strengthening ties and deepening the Agreement that the Rector of the University of La Serena, Dr. Nibaldo Avilés, signed this year with the Judicial Branch of the Province of San Juan.
