The Directorate of Links with the Environment and Extension supports the design and implementation of initiatives that mainly foster the relationship of the University with external agents. In the field of Links with the Environment, it is responsible for the coordination and cross-sectional monitoring of the initiatives developed institutionally, together with the gathering of information, registration and supervision of its coherence with the institutional purposes, without prejudice to the linkage functions. with the means that correspond to the academic units by regulation.

The Institutional Coordination of Links with the Environment it depends on the Direction of Linkage with the Environment and Extension. This unit carries out transversal monitoring of the linkage initiatives organized and executed by the internal links with the environment. In addition, it collects information on the development process and the results of the initiatives, both internally and externally. Also, it supervises the coherence of the initiatives with the institutional purposes of linking with the environment established in the Strategic Development Plan.

The Coordinator of Liaison with the Environment by Faculty, fulfills the following functions:

• Know and apply the Policy of Linkage with the Institutional Environment, integrating the strategic development and work of the Faculty with its respective Departments, Schools and Careers, to the quality challenges of the Institution in matters of linkage together with the Institutional Coordination of Link with the Environment.

• Support the Dean (a) in the preparation and follow-up of the annual Work Plan of Linkage with the Environment for the Faculty and its respective Departments, Schools and Careers.

• Participate and contribute in processes of systematization and feedback of the organization and internal mechanisms of the Faculty that allow the fulfillment of the activities of Linkage with the Environment, in conjunction with the Direction of Linkage with the Environment and Extension.

• Participate in the definition of impact evaluation mechanisms of Linkage with the Environment activities, in conjunction with the Direction of Linkage with the Environment and Extension, under the institutional quality guidelines.

• Attend meetings of an institutional nature called by the Directorate of Links with the Environment and Extension or the Office of the Academic Vice-Rector, requested through the respective Dean.

• Coordinate socialization activities organized by the Faculty or by the Central Administration in matters of Links with the Environment.

• Present to the Faculty Council a bimonthly report on Environmental Linkage activities, monitoring, results and impacts/contributions, both internal and external.

• Keep the information on Engagement with the Environment of the Faculty and its Departments, Schools and Careers up to date, in accordance with the formats established by the Engagement with the Environment and Extension Department, through its Integrated Engagement with the Environment Technological Platform ( PTVMI).

• Attend training and/or update sessions carried out by the Strategic Development and Quality Department.

• Deliver guidelines and assign tasks of Liaison with the Environment to the Assistant Professional of Integrated Quality Management, Strategic Planning and Liaison with the Environment, indicated in Article Three of this Resolution, in order that he can fulfill his duties.

El Professional Assistant for Comprehensive Quality Management, Strategic Management and Links with the Environment fulfills the following functions:

• Execute the tasks that the Dean of the Faculty assigns in matters of Comprehensive Quality Management procedures, monitoring of the Development and Operational Plans of the Faculty and Departments respectively, analysis and evaluation of indicators, and specific studies.

• Systematize all records of the Environmental Linkage activities of the Faculty units, according to the formats established in the Integrated Technological Platform for Linkage with the Environment (PTVMI), in accordance with what is established by the Coordinator of Link with the environment of the Faculty.

• Support the preparation of technical reports on states of progress in matters of Comprehensive Quality Management, Strategic Management and Linkage with the Environment required by the Dean or the Coordinator by Faculty of Linkage with the Environment, as appropriate.

• Support the realization of information socialization activities within the Faculty in matters of Integral Quality Management, Strategic Management and Linkage with the Environment.

• Collect information and background on activities of Comprehensive Quality Management, Strategic Management and Linkage with the Environment associated with the work of the Faculty for the registration and subsequent planning of its activities.

• Meet the specific requirements of the Coordinator by Faculty of Links with the Environment, for the fulfillment of their functions.

• Attend institutional requirements and support specific tasks required by the Central Administration, through the respective Faculty, in matters of Comprehensive Quality Management, Strategic Management and Linkage with the Environment.

• Attend training and updating days carried out by the Institution for the fulfillment of institutional objectives.
