Academic publishes new article in Psicoperspectivas magazine

This is a qualitative study on teachers' subjective theories regarding the implementation of transversal objectives in a commune in northern Chile (Alto Hospicio).

The academic from the ULS Department of Psychology, Dr. Pablo Castro, published the article “Subjective theories of teachers on the implementation of transversal objectives in a complex context” in the journal Psicoperspectivas (quartile 2).

In the article by Dr. Pablo Castro, Rodrigo González (U. de Tarapacá) and Omer Meza (U. Católica del Maule), a qualitative study is presented on teachers' subjective theories regarding the implementation of transversal objectives in a commune in northern Chile (Alto Hospicio).

Thanks to this work, it was found that teachers understand contextualization practices as the articulating axis of different transversal educational practices. Finally, the foundation of the teachers' subjective theories was analyzed taking into account previous research.
