Psychoeducational team APRENDE PACE ULS holds workshop on how to get the most out of institutional email

The event was open to the entire student community of the house of higher education.

The psychoeducational team of the APRENDE and PACE programs of the University of La Serena held a workshop open to the student community, focused on learning about all the potential that institutional email has.

The objective of the workshop was for the students to learn about the different tools associated with their institutional email and to be able to visualize their use to achieve learning according to their own needs. In this regard, Paula Vargas, AES PACE ULS Psychologist, stated: “The reception of the students was excellent, since they did not know several of the functionalities that their email has, so there was a lot of interaction throughout the day; Some of the content we covered were Google Drive, Calendar, use of forms for learning, among others. I thank the students who participated in our workshop and I invite the student community to participate in these and other events organized by the APRENDE and PACE ULS programs, which are of direct benefit to you."

Some of the topics that the workshop addressed were: receiving the daily agenda created from the Google Calendar programming in your Gmail inbox, the use of the undo sending function, recovering an email that has just been sent, among others. varied options, which the Institutional email @userena has.

The activity was received well by the attendees, in this regard Franco Carramiñana, Ped student. In Biology and Natural Sciences, he expressed: “I found the information that was provided super interesting and good, thanks to this workshop I was able to reinforce some Google tools that I did not handle in such detail.”

In relation to the above, Yaisinia Santander student of Ped. Basic General, added: “The workshop was excellent, since I did not know well how to use the Google calendar and I think that the general information they provided was very appropriate for us, since we generally understand that the only functionality that the Mail is about sending and receiving messages, we very rarely stop to check what else can be done with it, very grateful for the opportunity.”
