2030 projects meet to work on continuous improvements

Members of the FIULS 2030 Project traveled to the city of Copiapó to meet with the FIUDA 2030 Project, of the University of Atacama, an instance that arose after the first meeting of 2030 projects held in the month of October in Antofagasta.

In order to work on the corresponding axes of each project, representatives of both study houses met around work tables and discussions to share experiences on curricular renewal, student and academic mobility, technology transfer, and links with the industry. , among other topics linked to the education of Engineering careers.

The Executive Director of the FIULS 2030 Project, Ricardo Orrego, pointed out that “it is gratifying to see that both institutions share a firm commitment to academic excellence and the comprehensive preparation of our students for the challenges of the future. This meeting has been a crucial step towards building a strategic alliance that will allow us to expand our capabilities and offer even more enriching opportunities for our students and academics.”

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Atacama, Dr. Dante Carrizo mentioned that these opportunities are “a need to be able to share experiences, to be able to seek instances of joint work. In this case, we share an origin with the University of La Serena regarding the ING 2030 Project, therefore, it is natural that we can develop some activities together and use that synergy to achieve each of the objectives."

At the end of the day, the participants expressed their continued commitment to collaboration and the exchange of experiences, recognizing that these meetings strengthen not only the educational institutions involved, but also the training of professionals prepared to face the challenges of the future.
