Within the framework of the 4th Congress of Energy, Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability organized by the University of La Serena, the Intikallpa solar car project team presented the update of the sixth prototype.

This event, which brings together speakers from different countries, aims to publicize the scientific advances and research carried out by students and academics from different universities around the world.

The 2023 version took place near the Hotel Club La Serena, where the Team presented for the first time to the scientific community the changes that the Intikallpa VI will have in terms of suspension and improved aerodynamic design.

Luis Silva, associate professor of the Research Institute and the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering ULS, commented that this congress, which has been held for four years, “is oriented towards energy, its rational use and environmental sustainability. In addition to disseminating the scientific advances generated within the university, disseminating and attracting scientists from other parts of the world.”

Regarding the participation of the Antakari team in this instance, Francisca Jure, in charge of the Technical Team, mentioned that "we were able to present to the academic scientific community the advances in aerodynamics and weight reduction that this new car will have."

For the members of the project, this event is a boost for their professional development because “renowned scientists attend who know how to value the knowledge we are providing. It is an excellent opportunity where doors open for our future work,” said Daniel Ramírez, head of the vehicle chassis area.

On the part of the organization, they called on students, academics and scientists who did not participate in this version and have a project in mind, to put it on wheels and present it in the fifth version of this congress that will be held in 2025.
