This advance represents important news for the ULS. The ULS Finance Director, José Ojeda, explains that this process of revaluation of buildings, land and infrastructure works had as its central objective to reveal the fair value of the immobilized assets, “thus complying with current accounting standards and, on the other hand, , guarantee the stability and economic solvency of our Institution vis-à-vis public and private organizations.”

This process includes a series of stages, among which we can highlight the analysis of the sector in which the property is located, its nearby and immediate urbanization, the potential and quality of the accesses, the construction characteristics of the buildings, surfaces of the complex. and venue program according to current reality. Also the type of facilities (elevators, air conditioning and others), the current state, the level of maintenance and age of the different items.
