"Los Brazucas" lead the Gold Group of the Baby Soccer Championship Titled Cup

The tournament, which ends in October, will also reward the main figures. Up to now two members of “Los Brazucas” have disputed the top scorer scepter and the least beaten fence belongs to “Toby's Club”.

The first phase of the ULS Graduate Cup Baby Soccer Championship, organized by the Graduates Follow-up Office of the University of La Serena, has finished and the teams are preparing to resume the matches after the eighteenth recess, this time, integrating the Gold Groups and Silver, according to its classification.

The best two from Groups 1 and 2 now form the Gold Group, while the third and fourth place in the Silver Group. In this way, the Gold Group was made up of "Los Canallas" and "Gatos Guatones", from G1, who arrive at this stage with 7 and 6 points; in addition to “Los Brazucas” and “Toby's Club”, from G2, both with 7 points but with a goal difference in favor of “Los Brazucas”, who arrive at this stage with an impressive +13.

In turn, the Silver Group includes “Física FC” and “Ágora”, from G1, with 2 and 1 point, respectively; together with “Trapiche's Clan” and “Computación FC”, both with 1 point.

The finals will be held in October, on Monday 13 (Silver) and Wednesday 15 (Gold).At that time, the Championship scorer will also be rewarded, a stimulus that until now they compete in the first places: Luis Rodríguez Araya (Civil Engineering) and Renzo Manterola Norero (Architecture), top scorers of "Los Brazucas", with 14 and 13 goals , respectively, followed by Jorge Castillo Vargas (Audit), main scorer for "Los Canallas", with 11 goals. 

In addition, the team with the least beaten fence will be distinguished, which, for now, once the first half of the Championship is over, belongs to "Toby's Club", who conceded 12 goals in the 3 games played.

Let's remember that the teams are made up of graduates, graduates, undergraduate and postgraduate students from the institution from the four faculties, who have played each match with passion, fighting for all the balls as if it were the final of the tournament. The precision, physical condition, experience, speed and talent have made the difference in the matches.
